WATERTOWN, S.D.–Garbage collection rates in Watertown are going up a dollar a month next year.
The city council approved the solid waste rate schedule at their meeting Monday night.
They heard from consultant Ryan Graf, who told them they like to look at rates every couple of years, and adjust them slightly if necessary….
Garbage collection fees will go from the current $13 a month to $14 a month effective February 1st, 2024.
