WATERTOWN, S.D.–The second longest serving member in the history of the Watertown School Board oversaw her final meeting Monday night.
Board President Tammy Rieber (front row, middle) chose not to run for re-election, and her spot on the board will be filled by one of three candidates in next week’s election.
Rieber served four three-year terms beginning in 2011. Six of her 12 years on the board were spent as president.

School District Business Manager Heidi Clausen says Rieber has been on the board for some big decisions and big projects….
Rieber was given a plaque recognizing her years of service at the end of Monday night’s meeting.
