Watertown police make arrest in vandalism investigation

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Thanks to some tips from the public, Watertown police have made an arrest in a vandalism investigation.
During July and August, police responded to eight calls of spray painting vandalism throughout Watertown, with damage approaching $5,000.
After getting several tips from the public, police executed a search warrant in the 1400 block of 3rd Avene Northwest in Watertown, and arrested 18 year-old Jacob Martinez of Watertown for Intentional Damage to Property.
He was being held in the Codington County Detention Center.
