Watertown Park and Rec announces summer program lineup

WATERTOWN, S.D.- – The City of Watertown’s Parks, Rec, & Forestry Department is exciting to announce the launch of its highly anticipated summer program lineup, now available online at
www.watertownparkandrec.com. Families are encouraged to explore the diverse range of activities and plan ahead for registration opening Tuesday, April 2, at 8 am.

Serving the public across 12 subdivisions, including Parks, Recreation, Forestry, Zoo, Cattail Crossing Golf Course, Family Aquatics Center, Prairie Lakes Wellness Center, Ice Arena, City Auditorium, Fieldhouse, Stokes- Thomas Lake City Park and Campground, and Mount Hope Cemetery, the City of Watertown’s Parks, Rec, & Forestry Department is dedicated to providing enriching experiences for residents of all ages.

Registration for summer activities will open promptly at 8 am on Tuesday, April 2. To ensure fairness, please
note the following guidelines:

Registrations will not be accepted by phone.

All spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fees must be paid in full prior to participating.

Registrations are based on current age or the grade the participant is entering.

Please mark your calendars with program dates, as no further notification will be provided.

The summer catalog boasts an array of activities catering to all interests and age groups. From youth swimming lessons to learning the art of disc golf, mastering archery, exploring pottery, and much more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

To register for your chosen activities, simply visit www.watertownparkandrec.com and click on the “Program Sign-up” button. Create an account or log in if you’re a returning user, select your desired activity and corresponding session, and conveniently add to your cart. Then click on your cart in the top right corner and check out to complete payment of the associated fees securely online. A receipt will be emailed to you once you’ve paid.
