WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown has just passed the one year mark in its transition to a city manager-led form of government, and the hiring of Amanda Mack (pictured) as its first ever city manager to run the day-to-day business of the city.
It hasn’t been without challenges…
She says the challenges moving forward include city government in Watertown remaining competitive in the workplace….
And challenge number two?? Embracing more uses of available technology…
Mack was hired away from Spencer, Iowa, where she was city manager there.
