Watertown extends variance period for sump pumps

WATERTOWN, S.D.–An announcement this week from city officials as it relates to Watertown’s temporary variance period for sump pumps to discharge clean with into the sanitary sewer system.
That variance period typically expires on March 15th, but due to current and forecasted weather conditions, the variance period has been extended to April 1st.
