Watertown Development Company Executive Director announces she’s leaving

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Michelle Kakacek has resigned from her position as executive director of the Watertown Development Company.
She’s been employed there for nearly nine years, and will be leaving next month.
A news release is somewhat vague on her next move, saying she has, “accepted a position as director of an organization related to economic development, and will continue to be based out of Watertown.”
Kakacek has been the executive director of the Watertown Development company for a little less than a year.
An interim director will be chosen while the board of directors looks for a permanent replacement.
