Watertown developer gains city council support in seeking state infrastructure grant (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–A local development company went before the Watertown City Council Monday night seeking a resolution of support for state infrastructure funding for a housing development.

Mayor Ried Holien asked Thorson for a timeline on getting the houses built…
Thorson says if High Five Development is successful in getting the state grant, they can use the money for such things as the installation of streets, which are expensive.
The resolution of support was approved unanimously by the council.
