Watertown crash sends one person to Prairie Lakes Hospital

WATERTOWN, S.D.–One person was taken to the hospital Tuesday when two vehicles collided at a Watertown intersection.
It happened just after 3 p.m. at Highway 81 and 4th Avenue Southeast .
The vehicles were driven by two women from Watertown, one 18 years old, and the other a 25 year old.
After colliding, one of the vehicles ended up going through a front yard of a home and crashed into a wooden deck.
A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
One of the drivers was cited for driving with a suspended license.
Both vehicles had heavy damage and were towed from the scene.
The deck had minor damage.
Police did not release the names of the drivers.
