Watertown City Council to consider Target beer and wine application, ice arena sponsorship agreements

WATERTOWN, S.D.–It looks like you’ll soon have the option of buying beer and wine at Watertown’s Target store.
Their application for a malt beverage and wine license is on the agenda for the city council to consider tonight, and will get approval.
Also tonight, the council will consider giving authorization to the city manager to sign Prairie Lakes Ice Arena sponsorship agreements with First Premier Bank, Rising Star Hydraulics and Technicolor Screen Printing.
The First Premier Bank deal is worth $75,000 over five years.
The sponsorship agreements with Rising Star Hydraulics and Technicolor Screen Printing are for $6,000 each.
