WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the latest inductees into the Watertown Hall of Fame.

Three men, Francis Kick, Leonard Timmerman, and Dr. Gerald Tracy, will be inducted during a program November 12th at 11:30 a.m. at the Watertown Event Center.

Kick worked at, and later owned, Barkley Truck Lines, and was known for his generous volunteer work and philanthropy.

Timmerman was the director of Lake Area Vocational Technical Institute, now known as Lake Area Technical College, for 25 years before his retirement in 1990.

Dr. Tracy was a lifelong resident of Watertown, and served as a family physician at Brown Clinic for 40 years.

These inductees are considered the 2020 Hall of Fame class. There were no induction ceremonies last year due to the pandemic.

Tickets for the Hall of Fame luncheon are $35, and can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce.
