WATERTOWN, S.D.–On a unanimous vote today, the Watertown Airport Board recommended approval of a proposal for a restaurant to be located in the new terminal that’s under construction.
Dempsey’s owner Sean Dempsey spoke to the airport board today about his plan to open Danger Von Dempsey’s, a pizza by the slice concept, when the terminal opens in early 2022…..
In addition to pizza, Dempsey envisions a menu that includes salads and some fried foods like fish and chips, chicken strips and cheese balls, along with sodas and South Dakota craft beers.
The proposal now goes to the city council for final consideration.
The new terminal opens in early 2022.
