WATERTOWN, S.D.–Codington County Sheriff Brad Howell says an autopsy is being conducted to determine the death of a two year-old Watertown child.
Authorities were called to the home in the 900-block of 41st Street Southwest Wednesday morning on a report of an unresponsive child.
Howell says a search warrant at the home was conducted as investigators continue to try and piece together what happened…
The sheriff’s office, DCI and Watertown police are all working the case.
Howell says his office may issue a press release with more details on the investigation later today.
