UPDATE: Authorities identify man killed in Vermillion stabbing

VERMILLION, S.D.–The man killed in a weekend stabbing in Vermillion has been identified as 47-year-old Christopher Bartling from Vermillion.
Authorities report that the suspect — 20-year-old Chezayia Liggins of Omaha — is still in custody. Her bond is set at $1,000,000.
Vermillion Police were called to a local residence just after four o’clock Sunday morning. When they got there, Bartling was already deceased.
Authorities have not described the circumstances that led up to the stabbing.
