UPDATE: Arrest made in Sioux Falls homicide

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–A man has been arrested following a homicide last weekend in Sioux Falls.
Thirty eight year-old Edward Brinkley was arrested for Second-Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
He remains at the Minnehaha County Jail on a $1 million bond.
The homicide was discovered just after 2 a.m. Saturday in an apartment in the 200-block of East 12th Street.
Twenty eight year-old Richard Sowers of Sioux Falls had been shot multiple times in his torso. According to court documents, he was lying in the hallway of the apartment building.
He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
