Two in a row! Berg named NSIC Field Athlete of the Week

BURNSVILLE, MN (NSUWolves.com) — Watertown graduate and Northern State University senior Tanner Berg has been named the NSIC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for the second week in a row.
Berg won the weight throw at both the SDSU D2 Open and Jim Emmerich Invite by throwing a new school record of 22.58m in the weight. He added a third-place finish in the shot put, throwing 16.19m.
His record throw ranks in the top-5 of all NCAA divisions this season and is the third-best throw in Division II history. Berg ranks first in the weight and 20th in the shot put nationally.
