Trump confirms Noem is on “short list” of Vice Presidential candidates

GREENVILLE, S.C.–It’s the first concrete evidence that South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is under consideration by Donald Trump to be his running mate for the Republican nomination for president.
During a town hall meeting in Greenville, South Carolina Tuesday, Trump acknowledged that Noem is on his “short list” of candidates being considered.
Trump told Fox News that Noem and others on the list are, “all good people. Solid people. I’m looking for people with common sense.”
Trump is also said to be considering Vivek Ramaswamy, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, U.S. Senator Tim Scott and former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard in addition to Governor Noem.
