Summit Carbon Solutions Chief Commercial Officer visits with KWAT News (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–In just over a month, the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission will hold hearings on Summit Carbon Solution’s request to build a CO2 carbon sequestration pipeline through the state.

There are opponents to the project who are upset over condemnation proceedings taking place to acquire land for the project, as well as safety concerns should a pipeline breach occur.

Today, KWAT News had an in-depth interview with Jim Pirolli, Summit’s Chief Commercial Officer, to address some of these issues.
