South Dakota will sink deeper into the deep freeze this weekend  (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–It’s another brutally cold day across the region, and the worst is yet to come.

National Weather Service forecaster Amy Parkin says this weekend, we’ll see the coldest temperatures yet of this cold stretch that is now more than a week old…

The end result will be temperatures and windchills that stay below zero around the clock…

There’s good news for next week though…

Wind Chill Advisories and Warnings are posted for northeastern South Dakota today. Wind chill values will be in the 30 to 40 below zero range.
