Solberg wins court ruling to get name on Watertown election ballot

WATERTOWN, S.D.–A Watertown woman has won a court ruling to get her name on next month’s city election ballot.
Kay Solberg turned in petitions to run for a city council seat in Ward A, but they were rejected by the Finance Office because they deemed they had not been fully completed.
Solberg went to court, and Judge Carmen Means granted her request to place her name on the June 15th ballot.
Solberg is running against MIke Danforth for the four year term in Ward A.

Early voting begins May 28th.
