Sisseton man sentenced to 25 years in prison for child sexual assault

SISSETON, S.D. – A 71-year-old Sisseton man has been sentenced to a total of 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of sexual assault of a child under the age of 16.
South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley said Irvin Hill Sr. was sentenced Monday.
The assaults happened between April 2017 and May 2019.
“Thank you to the investigators and attorneys who helped bring resolution to this case,” Jackley said. “Our hearts go out to the victims of sexual abuse, and we remain committed to protecting children from such dangerous offenders.”
The case was investigated by the South Dakota DCI and Sisseton Police Department.
