SDHP identifies three people killed in crashes

RELIANCE, S.D.–Authorities have released the names of two men killed last week in a wrong way crash on Interstate 90 three miles west of Reliance, South Dakota.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol (SDHP) says 38 year-old Ryan Taylor of Fort Pierre and 59 year-old Daniel Kirkpatrick of Chandler, Minnesota were both killed.

Taylor was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the Interstate in a pickup Monday night when he crashed into a semi driven by Kirkpatrick.

Meanwhile, the SDHP has also released the name of a woman killed last week in a UTV crash in western South Dakota.

Thirty year-old Alicia Murray of Choctaw, Oklahoma was a passenger on the UTV that crahsed into a tree off a forest service road five miles southwest of Piedmont.

Murray was killed while the 37 year-old female driver, Jamie Fletcher of Rapid City, had minor injuries.
