School bus carrying North Dakota volleyball team involved in deadly crash

PETERSBURG, N.D.–One person is dead and multiple people were injured after a crash between a school bus and pickup in northeast North Dakota Thursday.
According to the Highway Patrol, around 3:45, the bus was carrying members of the Hatton Northwood volleyball team on Highway 32 about six miles south of Petersburg. The bus was heading north when it collided with the pickup at the intersection of County Road 4.
The driver of the pickup died at the scene.
The Highway Patrol said multiple passengers on the bus were taken to Altru in Grand Forks.
Ambulance services from multiple communities responded to the scene.
Conditions of those injured have not been released.
