Ribbon cutting date announced for Watertown’s Foundation Plaza

WATERTOWN, S.D.A ribbon cutting date has been announced for Watertown’s new Foundation Plaza.
It’ll be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday May 25th.
The plaza is a downtown park, with a stage and bandshell, adjacent to the Community Foundation offices.
The foundation kick started the project a few years ago with a half-million dollar donation.
The ribbon cutting event will include a free lunch courtesy of the Community Foundation. It’ll be served by local service organizations. There’ll be ice cream too, courtesy of the Watertown Police Department.
