Rapid City 320 takes two of three against Watertown on Hall of Fame Weekend

Post 17 would take game one of the three-game weekend series on Saturday 9-5. All nine runs came in the sixth inning as Watertown would send 12 men to the plate. Ryan Roby had a three-hit, one RBI afternoon, Jack Heesch ended the day with two hits and three RBIs. Jerod Cyrus added a two-run homer. Jackson Maag pitched six innings allowing five hits, five runs, striking out two while walking six.
The momentum would swing the other way in game two of Saturday as Rapid City would collect 12 hits in a 13-5 win over Watertown. Braeden Zaug smashed a three-run homer in the game.
Watertown would lose a heartbreaker on Sunday in eight innings 7-6. The purple and gold would tie the game in the seventh but could not get the final run to cross the plate with the bases loaded. 320 would tack on the winning run in the 8th inning. Heesch would collect two of Watertown’s seven hits.
