Pairings set for NSAA women’s postseason tournament

MADISON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Pairings have been set for the North Star Athletic Association Women’s Basketball Tournament.

Opening round games will be held at the higher seed on Tuesday, February 22d will feature:

No. 8 Waldorf (Iowa) (8-18, 2-12 NSAA) at No. 1 Dakota State (S.D.) (23-7, 13-1 NSAA) – 7 p.m.
No. 5 Viterbo (Wis.) (11-11, 6-8 NSAA) at No. 4 Dickinson State (N.D.) (9-21, 7-7 NSAA) – 7 p.m.
No. 7 Presentation (S.D.) (7-18, 4-9 NSAA) at No. 2 Mayville State (N.D.) (18-6, 10-3 NSAA) – 7 p.m.
No. 6 Bellevue (Neb.) (13-16, 6-8 NSAA) at No. 3 Valley City State (N.D.) (10-14, 7-7 NSAA) – 6 p.m.

Winners of the opening round games will move on to the NSAA Final Four to be played at the Watertown Civic Arena Saturday, February 26th.

The NSAA Women’s Championship is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 27th.  The winner earns NSAA’s automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round on March 11-12.
