Northern State University mourning death of student-athlete

ABERDEEN, S.D.–Northern State University (NSU) is mourning the loss of a student-athlete.
Caden Moore, a senior from O’Neill, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday. Foul play is not suspected.
Moore was a member of the NSU wrestling team, and had been studying special education.
Northern State President Neal Schnoor released a statement saying, “On behalf of our entire campus community, I extend our sincere sympathies to Caden’s family, friends and teammates. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this extremely difficult time.”
The cause of Moore’s death was not announced.
