WATERTOWN, S.D.–More wintry weather moves into the area today.

Areas roughly along and north of U.S. Highway 212 in South Dakota are under a Winter Weather Advisory (purple shaded areas) that goes into effect at noon today, and will be in place until 3 p.m. tomorrow.

National Weather Service forecaster Aaron Dorn says snow moves in this afternoon….

Dorn says we’ll get enough snow to shovel…

Areas right along the North Dakota-South Dakota border will see the most snow. Sisseton for example, could see 6 to 10 inches.

Just across the border in North Dakota, a Winter Storm Warning has been issued.
