WATERTOWN, S.D.–A combination of snow and wind have made for poor travel conditions across the region this morning…

National Weather Service forecaster Mike Connolly says after the snow came through, the visiblities went down…..

And that’s making for some poor travel conditions…

Connolly says later this week into the New Year’s weekend, we’ll see our coldest weather so far this winter…

The Watertown area and northeast South Daktoa remain in a Winter Weather Advisory (purple shaded area) until noon today due to blowing and drifting snow.

There are also Winter Storm Warnings (pink shaded area), Blizzard Warnings (orange shaded area) and High Wind Warnings (brown shaded area) for the region this morning.
