WATERTOWN, S.D.–Police officer-involved deaths like that of George Floyd in Minneapolis have put the work of law enforcement officers under the microscope, and has caused some of them to to make a career move to areas of the country where they feel more appreciated.
Governor Kristi Noem says South Dakota is certainly one of those areas…
The former cop convicted in Floyd’s death–Derek Chauvin–will be sentenced on June 25th.
