SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—Sioux Falls police are investigating a shooting that’s left a 36 year-old Sioux Falls man dead.

Officers were dispatched to the Get and Go convenience store on 57th and Marion Road around 3:30 this morning.

When they arrived, they found a man inside a car that had been shot multiple times in the torso.

He was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries and was later pronounced dead.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens says a lot of evidence needs to be processed before they can figure out exactly what led up to the shooting, and who’s responsible.

He says surveillance camera video could uncover further details of exactly what happened.

The name of the victim is not being released yet.
