New healthcare building at Lake Area Technical College nearing completion (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Construction on the new Prairie Lakes Healthcare Center of Learning at Lake Area Technical College is in its final stages.

In fact, that new building should be finished by the end of the month according to LATC president Mike Cartney……

This will get Lake Area’s healthcare programs all in one centralized location…

Cartney says they’ll have a ribbon-cutting for this new building at a later date, when people are more comfortable gathering in a larger group…

In October 2017, Prairie Lakes announced a $3.1 million gift allowing construction to begin.
