NEW: Arrest made in Watertown stabbing

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown police say a suspect is in custody in a stabbing that left the victim with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Captain Steve Rehorst says officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Fourth Avenue Northwest just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, where they found an adult victim with two stab wounds.
Police immediately identified and located a suspect and arrested her. She’s identified as 70 year-old Wanda Shepherd (pictured) of Watertown. She’s charged with Aggravated Assault.
The victim was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital.
Watertown police and the South Dakota DCI are investigating.
