WATERTOWN,, S.D.–Central and eastern South Dakota are under a combination of winter weather advisories, winter storm warnings and blizzard warnings this morning as a powerful storm system moves through the region.
After a snowy Sunday, more precipitation will fall today….

And increasing winds will be part of the mix today…
The stormy weather means an extended weekend for teachers and students, with many schools across the listening area choosing to cancel classes for today. The SDSU campus in Brookings is closed until Tuesday, and the final day of the South Dakota legislative session, known as Veto Day, was postponed from today (Monday) to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
