WATERTOWN, S.D.–This winter has been a quiet one for snowplow operators.
There have been only a couple snow events that have prompted the city of Watertown to activate and roll out their plows.
It comes after the city council made some subtle changes to its plowing policy.

All of Watertown’s snow-moving equipment will eventually be housed in a new Street Department facility, but when that happens remains to be seen…..
The city has purchased land along Highway 20 for its new Street Department headquarters.
