Man injured in rollover crash on Interstate 29 near Watertown
WATERTOWN, S.D.–A Bruce man sustained serious but non life-threatening injuries in a rollover accident Tuesday morning on Interstate 29, three miles south of Watertown.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 36 year-old Alfredo Guzman was southbound when he lost control of his vehicle on the ice.
The vehicle entered the median and rolled.
Guzman was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle, and a jack lift was used to lift the vehicle off him.
He was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital.
Three female passengers, ages 36, nine and six, were all buckled up and escaped injury.
The accident was reported at 9:20 Tuesday morning.
