LANGFORD, S.D. – A 45-year-old man died from injuries suffered in a crash in northeastern South Dakota Friday.
According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, the man was standing next to a parked semi trailer on a minimum maintenance road five miles northeast of Langford when he was hit by a field sprayer boom. The man died on the way to the hospital.
A 21-year-old woman was operating the sprayer. She was not hurt.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. No names have been released.
