PIERRE, S.D.–The last of four Sisseton residents has been sentenced in federal court for a robbery that occurred nearly seven years ago.

The South Dakota U.S. Attorney’s Office says 30 year-old Tiffany Bernard was sentenced this week to 15 years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.

Restitution of more than $300,000 was also ordered, relating to the victim’s medical expenses and lost wages.

Late last year, Bernard’s three co-defendants, Brendon Rodlund, Andrew Renville and Randall Pumpkinseed were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 13 to 15 years.

Rodlund is also serving a separate federal sentence of 13 years in prison for sexual assault.

According to court documents, in November 2015, the four assaulted by force, violance and intimidation, and took things of value from the victim at Drywood Lake west of Sisseton.

The case was investigated by the FBI, South Dakota DCI, and Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribal Police.
