MITCHELL, S.D.–President Joe Biden on Wednesday announced the sale of another 15-million barrels of oil from the nation’s strategic reserves in the hopes of lowering gasoline prices.

The strategic oil reserve is about 400-million barrels which is down from 617-million barrels a year ago.
OPEC recently announced a reduction of 2-million barrels a day to shore up prices. That cut is projected to take effect in November.
