WATERTOWN, S.D.–Attracting new retail businesses is a challenge for any city these days given rising interest rates and a shortage of workers.
But that doesn’t stop Watertown Mayor Ried Holien from trying. He recently talked with KWAT News about how the city can offer incentives to get new retail stores to set up shop in Watertown….
Holien says one of the best areas for potential retail development in Watertown is at the Lakes of Willow Creek.
The $36 million Prairie Lakes Ice Arena that’s under construction is one of the centerpieces of the Lakes of Willow Creek development.
