Highway Patrol releases names of men killed in separate Interstate 90 accidents

RELIANCE, S.D.–The South Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of the man killed last week when he rear-ended a semi on Interstate 90, six miles west of Reliance.

Seventy year-old Kenneth Cleveland of Indianapolis slammed into the back of the semi that was pulling onto the shoulder of the interstate after blowing a tire. He was killed.
The driver of the semi was not injured.

In a separate I-90 crash, a Black Hawk, South Dakota man has been identified as the person who died last Wednesday in a crash in Sturgis. Seventy year-old Bruce Fodness crashed the semi he was driving while crossing a bridge on the interstate The semi cab and trailer then fell over the bridge onto a parked train on the tracks below, causing two of the train cars to derail.
Fodness was taken to Monument Health in Rapid City where he died.
