Glacial Lakes Rubber and Plastics expands by 40,000 square feet  (Audio)

Watertown, S.D.–Ribbon-cutting ceremonies were held this morning for a 40,000 square foot expansion at Glacial Lakes Rubber and Plastics in Watertown.

The expansion means this local manufaturer now has 71,000 square feet of floor space.

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson was there, and got a tour of the facility from President and CEO Robb Peterson…

South Dakota U.S. Senator Mike Rounds was there too, and came away equally impressed with what he saw…

Glacial Lakes Rubber and Plastics–among other things–manufactures the soles for American military combat boots.

Seventy-five employees work there.
