Gas prices take 14-cent a gallon jump in Watertown

WATERTOWN, S.D.–After dropping below $2.00 a gallon, gasoline prices have taken a big post-Thanksgiving day jump in Watertown.

Stations that had been selling a gallon of regular unleaded for $1.95 a gallon raised their price 14-cents on Monday to $2.09 a gallon.

AAA Auto Club reports the statewide average price in South Dakota is currently $2.08 a gallon.

Nationally, the average price is $2.12 a gallon, which is two cents more than a week ago, but 46 cents cheaper than this time last year.
