ABERDEEN, S.D.–A slow moving weather system dropped much needed rainfall across eastern South Dakota over the weekend–and in some cases–a lot of it.

The National Weather Service in Aberdeen says rainfall amounts ranged from around an inch in Clark, to over nine inches in Rockham, which is west of Redfield.

Watertown’s official rainfall total for the weekend was .97.

There was some minor flooding with reports of secondary roads under water in Hand and Spink Counties.
