WATERTOWN, SD – Lake Area Technical College will host the 22nd Annual Governor’s Luncheon on Friday, April 19, from 11:30 am -1:00 pm at the Lake Area Tech Student Event Center (Level 4 of the Student Center). The Honorable South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem will deliver the keynote address.

Since 2002, the Lake Area Technical College Foundation, in partnership with South Dakota’s Governors, has held the event in support of student scholarships and campus improvements. Previous South Dakota Governors who have presented at the Governor’s Luncheon include Governor’s Dennis Daugaard, Mike Rounds, and the late William J. Janklow.

Event tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased by calling 882-5284 ext. 292 or at www.lakeareatech.edu. If you are a Lake Area Tech Alumni, acknowledge your graduation year and receive a $5 discount. The deadline to purchase tickets is Wednesday, April 17 at 12 Noon.

The Lake Area Technical College Governors Luncheon is being underwritten by the Watertown Area Community Foundation. This event is open to the public.
