Crash in western Minnesota leaves one dead, another injured

MADISON, Minn.–A man is dead following a two vehicle crash just east of the South Dakota-Minnesota line.
Lac Qui Parle County Sheriff Allen Anderson says it happened Friday morning at the intersection of two county roads west of Bellingham, Minnesota.
A Mack truck driven by 66 year-old Eugene Wrobleski of Benson, Minnesota was westbound on County Road 30 when it collided with a southbound pickup driven by 74 year-old Joseph Spors of Bellingham.
Both trucks came to rest in the ditch.
Wrobleski was transported to the Ortonville Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Spors was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Minnesota State Patrol assisted local authorities.
The crash remains under investigation.
