Clear Lake man causes two accidents in Watertown

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The driver of a car was involved in not one, but two accidents in Watertown within a few minutes of each other Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the first accident happened at the intersection of 14th Avenue Northeast and Fourth Street where a Subaru Outback struck another vehicle, but continued south on Highway 81.
Five minutes later, it was reported that the same Subaru Outback struck a parked van and then crashed into a utility pole in the 100 block of Fifth Street Northeast.
The Outback was driven by a 74 year-old man from Clear Lake. His name was not released. He was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital with serious injuries.
