Christmas holiday travel will be impacted by wintry conditions (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Christmas holiday travelers will be challenged over the next few days by less-than-ideal weather conditions.

Kelly Serr is with the National Weather Service office in Aberdeen, which has posted a Wind Chill Warning AND a Winter Storm Watch for the Watertown area that run through Saturday….

The window for the worst conditions will be from Thursday morning into Saturday morning. That’s when the winds will be at their strongest, and will chills will be their coldest……

This will be a multiple day event…

We’ll see moderating temperatures by Christmas Day, when highs will get into the teens above zero.
