WATERTOWN, S.D.—Watertown Mayor Sarah Caron is asking landlords to be a little more forgiving in the midst of this global pandemic.
During the daily city press briefing Friday, the mayor says there will be renters who’ve lost their jobs or had their hours or pay reduced, and they’ll have a difficult time making that beginning-of-the month rent payment….
The mayor said you’re also going to see more visual signs of the pandemic around Watertown, but don’t be alarmed by that….
Codington County reported two more positive cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the overall total to eight.
