BREAKING: Missing Watertown teens safely located by authorities (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The search for a missing Watertown teenager and his girlfriend came to an end this (Tuesday) morning when they were safely located.

KWAT News spoke with Sergeant Ryan Beauchamp of the Watertown Police Department…

Police had been searching for 17 year-old Terence First In Trouble and 17 year-old Jaden Shroll, who were last seen on Sunday.

Beauchamp says there had been some contact with the pair through social media, which gave authorities some direction on where to look…

Beauchamp says the teens were found by a South Dakota Highway Patrolman near the Castlewood exit on Interstate 29. That’s where their vehicle had run out of gas.

Beauchamp says it’s a good example of the cooperative work between law enforcement agencies..

Beauchamp says no criminal charges are expected. He says it’s being treated as a case of runaway juveniles that came to a successful conclusion.
